Now that fall is finally here, one of the best cold-weather activities in Jersey City is taking in all the great live music and bands performing nightly around the city. We’ve rounded up a few of our favorite spots – don’t be surprised if you run into a fellow Quinn resident one of these nights!
White Eagle Hall
White Eagle Hall is a beloved combination of music, theatre, and dining venue housed in a restored historic building in the Village neighborhood of Downtown Jersey City. Originally built in 1910 as community center, you can catch bands like The Wailers and Guster on any given night at this popular local spot.
WFMU Montgomery Hall
This local venue shows everything from Hitchcock movies to live music from local favorites including the Pola Brothers, Spider Bags and Dark Thoughts.
This neighborhood bar serves up booze, vegetarian food and live music from beloved local and traveling punk bands. Pet Shop’s highly anticipated opening means you’ll find the place packed on most nights. Go for the food, stay for the music.
Zeppelin Hall Biergarten
This massive biergarten has become a local favorite, serving up 170 types of beer on tap with German food and live bands. What more could you want?
