Halloween is upon us and we couldn’t be more excited to get into the holiday spirit with our Jersey City community. While Halloween is always fun for the adults, it’s really all about the kids, so we’ve rounded up the best family-friendly events this week in JC.

Annual Paulus Hook Halloween Parade

October 30th, 12:30 PM

Paulus Hook’s finest will gather in Paulus Hook Park to celebrate Halloween with not one but TWO parades: the Pet Parade starts at 12:30 PM , and the Children’s Parade will kick-off at 1:45 PM. Proceeds from the event will benefit Paulus Hook Park Redesign and Liberty Human Society.

HudsonPLAY Halloween

October 30^th, 12- 3 PM

Looking for a kid-friendly Halloween party? Hit up HudsonPLAY as they go all-out with a holiday themed-bash including a magic show, face painting and balloons, a DJ and dancing and of course prizes for the Best Dressed, Most Creative (Individual), Most Creative (Family).

Ragamuffin Parade & Costume Contest 

October 31, 3:15 PM

To take part in the ultimate Halloween parade, line up at 3:15pm on Washington Street between 13th & 14th streets. Take in the local live music, floats and of course, incredible costumes! The Costume Contest begins at 4:30pm, following the Parade at The Little League Field, 5th Street & River Terrace.

Family Halloween Bash on the Pedestrian Mall 

October 31, 3-6 PM

The Pedestrain Mall is throwing a ghoulishly good party for kids this Halloweeen. Enjoy face painting, a bouncey house, music, and CANDY galore!
