The Best Fall Events in Jersey City

Fall is officially in full swing, and with temperatures finally cooling and the leaves starting to turn, now is the time to take advantage of all the seasonal offerings that Jersey City has to offer. We’ve rounded up the best events city-wide in the coming month – hope to see you there!

 

 

Jersey City Art & Studio Tour Kick-Off Celebration

October 4, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Celebrate the arts across Jersey City for the 28th annual  Jersey City Art & Studio Tour, with over 21-square miles of art exhibits, performances, installations, curated tours, special events and children’s experiences.

 

Jersey City PierFest

October 5 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

The Exchange Place Alliance Special Improvement District and Riverview Jazz are hosting Jersey City PierFest, a free concert series held at J. Owen Grundy Pier each Friday, starting September 14 through October 12.  Fall Friday’s don’t have to be so glum anymore!

 

Christopher Columbus Day Parade

October 6 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

City Hall Plaza, 280 Grove Street

Planning a staycation for Columbus Day? Get in the holiday spirit and join Mayor Steven Fulop, the Jersey City Municipal Council and the Office of Cultural Affairs for the Christopher Columbus Day Parade. Kicking off from Dickinson High School and end at City Hall Plaza, this free, patriotic event will sure to bring out Jersey City’s finest.

 

Jersey City Harvest Festival

Oct 13, 10am – 1pm

Fall is officially in full swing, and along with it come the beautiful colors of the season! Join your fellow Jersey City neighbors for the ultimate fall celebration at the Harvest Festival at City Hall Plaza – just steps from Quinn’s front door. Festivities will include pumpkin decorating, dancing, and face painting, a bounce house and kids train.
