Show Your Pride at the 18th Annual Jersey City LGBT Pride Festival

August 21, 2018

As the most diverse city in the U.S., Jersey City is home to a wide variety of amazing festivals and fairs that celebrate its multicultural influences. This month, JC’s largest festival – and one of the largest festivals in Northern New Jersey – will take place just a short stroll from Quinn!

On Saturday, Aug. 25, from 1 to 9 p.m., Gayborhood Jersey City and the Hudson Pride Center will celebrate the region’s LGBT community by co-hosting the 18th Annual Jersey City LGBT Pride Festival on Newark Avenue, between Grove Street and Jersey Avenue.

Last year, more than 15,000 attendees attended the festival, which kicks off with a Pride march on Newark Avenue before giving way to a lineup of entertainers. This year’s march will be led by Gotham Cheer and the all-women Fogo Azul drumline, and the festival will feature performances by headliner Inaya Day, Jason Walker, Alus, Glo 96, Chix Appeal, Jack Tracey, Gonna Be All Stars featuring Catacombs, Droze, Keisha Martin and Michael M., and Anais Diva Smith aka IceTheVibe.

If we don’t see you at the festival, perhaps we’ll catch you at the official Pride After-Party, which will be held at Talde/Miss Wong’s from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m.!
