The All About Downtown Street Fair is by far the premier event this September in Jersey City. A classic street fair featuring vendors selling everything from handmade gifts like candles, jewelry and more, to local businesses highlighting their services. This is a family event so be sure to bring the kids who can enjoy rides and face painting. For the adults, enjoy a full beer garden, live music and much more.

Get your tickets for the Friday, Sept. 23 Jersey City Wine Fest. An entire evening of wine sampling paired with food, entertainment and interactive games. Located at Liberty State Park, 1 Audrey Zapp Drive in Jersey City, the Fest kicks off at 6:30 p.m. and runs through 10 p.m.

Join Jersey City locals at Newport Green park for a half marathon beginning at 8:30 a.m. Take a running tour of Jersey City with this fast, flat, landmark-studdened half marathon featuring stunning views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and, of course, the Manhattan Skyline. After the race, stick around for an “epic post-race celebration” at Newport Green.
